Boo Loudly. Boo Often. Boo for Democracy.
Silence is Compliance. Trump Deserves the Noise.
This weekend, something glorious happened.
Donald J. Trump, the twice-impeached, four-times-indicted, would-be dictator-in-waiting, got booed. Loudly. Publicly. Mercilessly. And not by “paid protesters” or some secret liberal cabal, but by regular Americans with enough spine left to say: “We see you. We remember. And we reject you.”
And you know what?
It mattered.
Because booing — that ancient, primal, unfiltered act — has power. It breaks through the polished lies, the gaslighting, the Fox News spin machine. It cuts to the chase. No soundbite, no talking point. Just raw disapproval that echoes in the chest and in the headlines.
💥 Why Booing Matters
It disrupts the illusion of popularity. Trump’s entire existence is built on the illusion that he’s adored. That everyone loves him. That the crowd is always roaring for him. When the crowd roars against him? That illusion cracks.
It gives permission to others. Booing is contagious. When one person dares, others join. And suddenly the emperor’s clothes start looking awfully sheer.
It sends a message to the media, the undecided, the apathetic. When boos rain down in real time, live and unrehearsed, it becomes undeniable: Not everyone is onboard this train to fascism.
It holds space for truth. Booing is not incivility. It’s accountability.
🧨 Silence Is Not Neutral
Let’s get one thing straight: silence in the face of fascism is not politeness. It’s permission.
When we let Trump lie unchecked, when we ignore his casual cruelty, when we pretend that shrugging and walking away is “taking the high road,” we abandon the people most vulnerable to his rhetoric and policies.
When we don’t boo — when we stay quiet, passive, or “civil” — we become the silent majority that tyrants rely on to get away with everything.
History doesn’t look kindly on the quiet ones. It never has.
📢 This Is Not a Drill
Trump wants to criminalize dissent. Jail journalists. Round up immigrants. Erase women’s rights. Militarize schools. Funnel your Social Security into Wall Street. Put government in the hands of religious extremists and corporate billionaires. That’s not speculation — it’s written in Project 2025 and spoken from his own mouth.
So yes. Boo the hell out of him. Boo him at UFC matches, at golf courses, at rallies, at any public appearance. Don’t let the man have a single moment of unearned peace.
Boo until the lies can’t breathe.
Boo until the cowards around him start second-guessing their allegiance.
Boo for every family separated at the border, every woman stripped of rights, every teacher threatened for telling the truth.
Let’s Be Loud
This isn’t about being rude. It’s about being real.
And if some delicate pearl-clutcher tells you booing is “un-American,” remind them what’s truly un-American:
- Caging children.
- Praising dictators.
- Attacking elections.
- Cheering insurrection.
- Calling Nazis “very fine people.”
We boo because we give a damn.
We boo because democracy requires noise.
We boo because this country deserves better.
look So boo. Boo for justice. Boo for truth. Boo because silence is no longer an option.
And if they ask who gave you permission?
Tell them you read it in a newsletter.
