BREAKING: Right-wing Christians REVOLT against Trump’s disgusting celebration of Rob Reiner’s tragic murder.

The beating heart of MAGA has finally had enough. Donald Trump’s response to the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife didn’t just shock Hollywood—it detonated outrage across the political and religious spectrum, including from prominent Christian conservatives who say the president failed a basic moral test.

Russell Moore, editor at large of Christianity Today and former Southern Baptist Convention leader, didn’t mince words. Trump’s post, Moore wrote, was “vile, disgusting, and immoral,” adding that “how this behavior has become normalized in the United States is something our descendants will study in school, to the shame of our generation.”

Conservative radio host and Christian broadcaster Erick Erickson went further, pointing out the staggering hypocrisy. “All those people who lost their jobs for their disgusting tweets about Charlie Kirk's assassination are staring at the President of the United States's social media account in disbelief,” he wrote. “Rob Reiner and his wife have been murdered. It's a tragedy, and the President has failed to meet the moment.”

Erickson described conversations with Trump voters who are simply worn out. One relative, he said, “likes Trump’s policies, but he’s exhausted by Trump and embarrassed by the President’s behavior,” wishing Trump would “just go off the grid for a while.” Instead, Erickson noted, America got a president “going off on the murder of Rob Reiner.”

Then came the most damning rebuke—from Trump’s own supposed spiritual allies. Erickson blasted the evangelical leaders around Trump, saying they care more about access than accountability: “They all seem more concerned with what they can get from him and not at all concerned with the state of his soul.” He added bluntly, “If we know Christians by their love, his behavior doesn’t seem reflective of the faith.”

Idaho minister Douglas Wilson summed it up simply: “The president's response…was grotesque.”

The current hosts of The Charlie Kirk show were equally disturbed by Trump’s “disgusting” comments. “I'll be frank. I think the president should delete that," said co-host Blake Neff.

Even Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene broke ranks, calling the killings “a family tragedy, not about politics or political enemies,” and urging empathy.

And Maria Shriver, the former wife of Republican luminary Arnold Schwartzenegger, captured what millions felt watching Trump sneer at the dead. “This individual has no human decency,” she wrote. “It’s absolutely disgusting… What kind of human being would share a statement like this, much less a president?”

The contrast couldn’t be clearer. While Trump used murder to settle scores, voices across America—religious leaders, conservatives, and friends of the victims—said enough.

This wasn’t politics. It was a test of humanity. And by the judgment of his own allies, Donald Trump failed it spectacularly.

And Maria Shriver, the former wife of Republican luminary Arnold Schwarzenegger, captured what millions felt watching Trump sneer at the dead. “This individual has no human decency,” she wrote. “It’s absolutely disgusting… What kind of human being would share a statement like this, much less a president?”
