Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Fire All Federal Workers—Can We Start With Her?

This week, we had a (gasp) positive experience with a federal employee. I know, I know Marjorie Taylor Greene would have us believe that all federal workers are useless, overpaid, and don't deserve their paychecks. But let us introduce you to someone who absolutely earned every cent of hers:

AMY (Employee Code 4656), a Medicare customer service rep, who just saved us from a heart attack.

We received a confusing Coordination of Benefits (COB) letter from Medicare, suggesting we might owe thousands of dollars. Naturally, panic set in. But then, we called the help number ”brace yourself” we actually got help. Not only was the wait time short (shocking!), but when Amy picked up, she was kind, knowledgeable, and reassuring. She explained the letter, apologized for the confusion, and, most importantly, confirmed we didn’t owe a dime. WHEW.

So, MTG, let’s get this straight, you want to fire all federal employees? Even the ones like Amy, who literally prevent people from spiraling into financial ruin over bureaucratic confusion? Interesting. Because if we're talking about a federal worker who really doesn’t deserve a paycheck, might we suggest you?

Unlike Amy, who provided actual value, MTG collects a taxpayer-funded salary to spread chaos, misinformation, and performative outrage. A real public servant solves problems. What does she do again?

P.S. If you’ve had a great experience with a federal worker, we‘d love to hear about it! Let‘s remind folks why public service still matters. Show some support for them on your social accounts, too!
