Subject: We’re Not Done Yet (and neither are you)
I want to talk to you honestly for a moment—no framework, no numbered steps, no tidy lesson at the end.
Just… where I’ve been, what I’ve seen, and why we’re continuing this work together.
Because if you completed (or even partially completed) the 10-Day Mindful Activist Reset, you might be wondering:
“Are we done?”
Not quite.
🌿 The Truth About the First 10 Days
The 10-day reset was never meant to fix your life.
It was meant to do something quieter—and far more important:
Wake you up just enough to notice.
Notice where you’ve been on autopilot.
Notice what you’ve been tolerating.
Notice the quiet gap between the life you’re living… and the life you feel somewhere inside you.
But here’s what I know—about myself, and about most of us:
Awareness is powerful.
But it’s not enough to carry us forward on its own.
Because once you start noticing…
you also start feeling.
And right now, there is a lot to feel.
✈️ A Week Away… and a Different Mirror
I stepped away for a week.
I went to Paris, with a quick day trip to London.
I walked along the Seine.
Sat in cafés.
Watched people live their ordinary, beautiful, complicated lives.
And I did something I always do when I travel:
I paid attention to how the rest of the world is seeing us.
And let me tell you…
The European press is horrified by what is happening in the United States.
Not confused.
Not mildly concerned.
Horrified.
And I suspect many of you feel that same knot in your stomach every time you turn on the news.
It’s heavy.
It’s overwhelming.
It’s the kind of moment in history where it feels like everything needs attention, all at once.
🌎 The Overwhelm Is Real
There is so much to care about right now.
Democracy.
Human rights.
The environment.
Truth itself.
You could spend every waking hour paying attention—and still feel like you’re not doing enough.
And that’s exactly where many people shut down.
Not because they don’t care.
But because it feels impossible to carry it all.
🔥 So What Do We Do With That?
This is where the idea of being a Mindful Activist becomes more than just a nice phrase.
It becomes a necessity.
Because we need both of these things at the same time:
✔ The courage to show up and take action
✔ The capacity to stay grounded, present, and human while we do it.
One without the other doesn’t work.
If you only focus on the world, you burn out.
If you only focus on yourself, you disconnect.
But together?
That’s where something sustainable begins.
✊ Action Matters (Now More Than Ever)
There are moments when reflection is enough.
This is not one of them.
If you’ve been paying attention, you already know:
There are opportunities right now to show up in visible, collective ways.
Including the upcoming No Kings National Protest—a powerful reminder that democracy is not something we observe.
It’s something we participate in.
And no, one action doesn’t fix everything.
But it does something important:
It reminds you that you are not powerless.
🌿 And Still… Your Life Matters Too
Here’s the part I refuse to let go of:
You are still allowed to build a life that feels like yours.
Even now.
Especially now.
Joy is not a betrayal of the moment.
Growth is not selfish.
Taking care of yourself is not abandoning the world.
It’s what allows you to stay in it.
So yes—pay attention.
Show up.
Speak out.
And also…
Come back to yourself.
🌱 Why We’re Continuing (But Differently)
The 10-day reset opened the door.
Now we need something that helps you actually step through it.
Something simpler.
Lighter.
Easier to say yes to.
So we’re continuing this work with:
The 5-Day Wake Up Call - starts soon!
Not because the last reset didn’t work.
But because this moment we’re in requires something more immediate.
More accessible.
More human.
Five days.
A few minutes each day.
A way to reconnect with yourself while the world feels like it’s spinning a little too fast.
💛 A Final Thought
You are living in a complicated time.
There is no perfect way to navigate it.
But there is a meaningful way.
And it looks something like this:
Stay aware.
Stay engaged.
Stay human.
Stay connected to yourself.
We’ll do that together.
I’ll leave you with a few photos from my trip—small reminders that beauty, history, and humanity still exist alongside all the noise.
And that life, even now, is still worth showing up for.
